The Challenge

Traditional hockey management games use deterministic engines and static trade logic. Negotiations are reduced to sliders, AI opponents follow predictable patterns, and scouting is just reading a spreadsheet. There is no pressure, no politics, and no consequences for how you treat the league.

The genre needed a simulation where the AI opponents felt like real competitors—not scripts waiting to accept a fair trade.

My Solution

I built Rinkside GM as a premium, AI-native hockey management simulation. At its core is a generative AI engine that powers every interaction—from contract negotiations with agents who remember your past lowball offers, to rival GMs whose trading strategies shift based on ownership pressure and job security.
