AI-Powered Quebec Lease Analyzer
A privacy-first web app that uses AI to analyze Quebec leases and detect illegal clauses for tenants.

Service
Full-Stack Development, Next.js, AI/Gemini, Stripe, PDF Analysis
The Challenge
In Quebec, landlords frequently include clauses in residential leases that are outright illegal under the Civil Code of Quebec—security deposits, blanket pet bans, waiving the right to the Tribunal administratif du logement. Most tenants have no idea these clauses are unenforceable, and generic AI chatbots give vague, jurisdiction-agnostic advice.
Tenants needed a tool built specifically for Quebec law—not a general chatbot, but a structured, clause-by-clause legal analysis.
My Solution
I built LojiBail as a privacy-first SaaS platform that analyzes uploaded lease PDFs using AI trained on the Civil Code of Quebec and TAL jurisprudence. The app provides a structured report with severity levels, specific CCQ article citations, and actionable next steps.
