Project - Competitive Circuit Management

The Challenge

The Fédération de Kin-Ball du Québec (FKBQ) was managing their entire multi-league competitive circuit with manual spreadsheets and emails. This process was not only time-consuming, leading to hundreds of administrative hours, but also prone to errors in standings calculations and schedule coordination. They needed a centralized, automated platform to provide a reliable, real-time experience for everyone.

My Solution

I worked closely with FKBQ to architect and build this custom, all-in-one management platform from the ground up using the TALL (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire) stack. The application was designed to automate every aspect of league management, providing a single source of truth that streamlines operations for the entire federation. I handled the full development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment and support.

Key Features Implemented:

• Automated Standings: Live, automatic calculation of league standings after each match is recorded, eliminating manual errors.
• Live Score Reporting: A dedicated interface for officials to report scores in real-time from a tablet or phone during games.
• Dynamic Schedule Generation: An algorithm to automatically generate balanced schedules for the entire season across multiple leagues.
• Club & Team Management: A secure, role-based permissions system allowing individual clubs to log in and manage their own rosters.
